Would you ever get a video game tattoo?

In this line of work, there are many things that are almost a given, including constant harassment from sweaty gamer nerds upset because you made a negative comment about The Witcher 3, the fact that everyone is awfully middle-class, and, not to mention, the fact that at least one person has a tattoo that was inspired by video games. I’m afraid those are basically the three golden principles of writing about video games.

Aside from jokes that aren’t actually jokes, video games have been the inspiration for many tattoos in the world. Hell, even as I’m writing this, I’m considering which tattoo from my current fixation, Dead by Daylight, I’d like to have next. 

ANYWAY. Both tattoos and video games are widely available. The question is, what games are the most popular in the world? Is it comparable to Fortnite or Overwatch? You might be astonished to learn that, according to a research based on Instagram, neither of those titles even cracks the list of the top 10 video games in the globe. Not in the slightest.
